The Laughing Kookaburra

I'll never forget waking up one morning at a friend's house in a forest just outside Sydney, Australia and hearing what I thought was a group of escaped baboons. Only to find the noise was made by a pair of these quite small birds!

This one was photographed in captivity here in the U.K.
