MY Special Place - Rome

This is my entry for the "MY special place" challenge. I've had to post it in advance as I'm away tomorrow.
The picture is an aerial shot of Rome taken from a hot air balloon. It's special to me because I love all the history of Rome and the Romans plus on this particular trip it was a special birthday; we had a fabulous meal in a rooftop restaurant - the Mirabelle - overlooking the city as the sun set (and no camera handy!).

Oh... how I adored Rome... the lay out, the history etc I loved going down all the streets and just admiring everything... we had pizza at a small 'local' place near the Vatican (not the expensive tourist restaurants) and was sitting there when suddenly the moon started to rise over the city... oh it was amazing... a place I want to return to...

I can understand that this city is a special place for you and apparently also a special day.
You show it to us also with a very beautiful picture taken from a very uncommon point of view (lucky man ;o))
